Congratulations to Explorer Middle School students Dylan and Henry Pham on winning the 2025 Congressional App Challenge! Representative Rick Larsen (WA-02) named them winners for their coding project, “Epidemic Wars: The 2100 Era,” which is an interactive game to help educate people about vaccines and immune health.
As part of the recognition, they are invited to attend the House of Code event in Washington, D.C., April 20-23, where their app will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol.
Every year, talented students in Northwest Washington sharpen their coding skills and get out of their comfort zones by competing in the Congressional App Challenge. It is an honor for our students to win this prestigious recognition by Rep. Larsen.
