The Golden Feather

Our Golden Feather Award is given each month to an Endeavour classified staff member who goes above and beyond for our school community. Our Golden Feather Award winner this month was given to our amazing LAP paraeducator and Recess Teacher, Johnny Cerna!

This is what a few Eagles had to say about Mr. Johnny:

  •  5th Grader: “Mr. Johnny is really funny. When I don’t have anyone to play with, I can talk to him and he makes me feel heard.”
  • Kindergartener: “I like Mr. Johnny because he teaches us to draw the letters. He is a kind friend.”
We are so grateful for the positive impact Mr. Johnny has on our school community. Thank you, Mr. Johnny, for all that you do!

Updating Student and Family Information

A new feature has been added to the Family Access portal where you can submit digital update requests for your student’s information on file including emergency contacts, address changes and more. These requests are sent directly to the school for our office staff to process.

You can find detailed instructions here for the address change process.

Talons & Tidbits

Conference Week is right around the corner!

November 24-26: Fall Conferences - No School.
Don’t forget to sign up for a conference if you have not done so already! Please look for a ParentSquare invitation from your child’s teacher to select a time to come in for a celebration and review of your students progress this year.

If you are having issues with scheduling, either contact the teacher or call our office and we can assist you.

November 27-28: Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Day: No School

From the Health Room

If your student may need medications throughout the school day, please let our health room staff know. For each medication, we require a medical provider order. Students are not permitted to carry any medication unless it has been approved through our process. Please do not send your student with any medications that have not been approved as this can pose a risk to the student and others. These include prescription medications, inhalers, over-the-counter medications, cough drops, etc.

Please reach out if you have questions or need a medication form and we can provide one for you.

Thank you,
Nurse Sarah

Friends and Family of Neurodiversity

Our Endeavour community has launched a group called "Friends and Family of Neurodiverse Kids".  We had our first meeting in October, and now have an active group dedicated to creating a community of inclusivity and belonging.  We have organized a few fun playdates and have many more in the works.  Our next two meetings will be on Friday 11/21 and Friday 12/12 at 9:15 in the Endeavour Library.  During our meetings, we share resources, create space for sharing our stories, and plan future play dates.  We would love to have you join us!
