Arrival and Dismissal

Help us drive safety and efficiency!

Student arrival begins early at 8:40 am daily:
  • First Bell rings at 8:50 am
  • Students enter classrooms at 8:55 am
  • Students must be in their seats by 9:00 am to be marked present. Please keep in mind it takes a few minutes for them to walk to their class. If your child misses their line entering class, students must report to the office to check in and/or receive a pass.
Dismissal times are as follows:
  • 3:25 pm Monday-Thursday
  • 2:10 pm Friday
Car Rider Expectations:
  • At drop off and pick up, when you turn into the parking lot, we need to form TWO LINES of cars. This will help prevent additional back up onto Harbour Pointe Boulevard.
  • Once you reach the stop sign, it will go EVERY OTHER CAR as you turn into the single lane (Zipper merge).
  • Please have your family car tag/pick up number visible (either hanging on your rear view mirror or on your dash) - All students were assigned new numbers this year that they will carry with them until they leave Endeavour. Please do not use the number you were issued prior to the 2025-26 school year!
  • Practice your pick up number with your child to aid in speedier dismissal.
  • Slow down and pay attention to our hard-working flaggers. They have a BIG job and deserve to be safe and treated with respect.
If we are each willing to work together and do our part, our drop off and pick-up will be smoother and safer for all

Attendance

Dear Families,

If you need to report an absence, tardy, or early dismissal, call our office at 425-366-2800, utilize
attendance line at 425-366-2805 or visit the Report An Absence page on the Endeavour Website.

Please note that teachers do not always have the opportunity to inform the office that your child
going to be absent. Please include office staff on all attendance emails to teachers at Endeavour@mukilteo.wednet.edu

Full day absences for medical appointments are discouraged and may not always be excused. We highly encourage your student to attend, even for just part of the day. If a full day absence cannot be avoided, we request that you provide a note from your child’s healthcare provider indicating the necessity for a full day absence.

If you are are planning an extended absence, a Pre-arranged form must be completed and returned
at least one week prior to your child's planned absence. Please email So-Jung Park, Dean of
Students, for more information on policies and how to complete the form.

Students must be in their seats at 9:00am to be marked present. The most crucial hours of a school day are the morning hours because this is when students are most attentive. Students who are tardy miss the beginning of their morning classes, and they also cause a distraction when they arrive late to class.

Please drop off your students before the final bell at 8:55 to ensure they enter their classroom on time. Remember, you can drop your child off as early as 8:40 am. where they have the option to have breakfast, or line up with their class and get ready for their day.

Our goal is to help your child learn and grow, and it starts with being here. We all belong here.

Cheers!
Lizzie Baldwin and Carmel Rice, your office duo.

From the Health Room

Introducing Nurse Sarah Cossette and Daphne Baird, our wonderful and caring health room team ready to comfort and care for all Endeavour Eagles. Here are a couple ways you can help our health room get a strong start this year:

  • Cold and Flu season is inching it's way closer and closer. Please remember that students are not allowed to carry any medications at school including; Cough drops, Tums, etc. All medications need to be approved through the health room.

  • Clothing Drive: If you have any new or gently used clothing that you might wish to donate (Boys and Girls underwear and pants, Small and Large) consider bringing to our health room!

Talons & Tidbits

Breakfast and Lunch: Our school meal menus have gone digital! Lunch and breakfast menus will no longer be sent home with students and instead will be available online and will also be included in our newsletter. Breakfast and Lunch will continue to be free to students for the 2025-2026 school year.

Classroom Celebrations: Many of our students are lucky to have their birthdays fall during the school year, which of course leads to wanting to celebrate in the classroom! Here are a few reminders if your child wants to celebrate in their classroom this year:

  • Please consult with your childs’ teacher prior to sending any treats (edible or inedible) Party goodies can be a distraction and may disrupt valuable learning time if our educators are unprepared.
  • All snacks or desserts must be store bought in original packaging. All juices must be canned or bottled and unopened. Severe food allergies exist among many classrooms. Consulting with the teacher reduces the risk of accidental exposure to food allergens.
  • Many teachers discourage or do not allow edible treats in the classroom. Please consider sending favor bags/boxes instead.
