From the Principal's Desk

Dear Families,

As we wrap up another school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for being such an essential part of the Endeavour community. Whether you volunteered your time, attended school events, chaperoned field trips, or supported learning at home, your involvement has made a real difference.

This year has reminded us of the strength that comes from working together. Through every challenge and every celebration, our students have thrived because they are surrounded by a team—families, teachers, staff, friends and a principal—who believe in them.

It’s a true honor to learn and grow alongside such incredible kids, caring families, and a dedicated staff.

Let’s finish the 2024-2025 school year strong together!

Pride Month

Pride Month is celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States.

We see and welcome students and staff who identify as LGBTQ+. Feeling included and supported is one of the most critical elements of well-being and we welcome ALL students and staff.

Field Day!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The end of the year is coming quickly and field day is just a few weeks away. Field Day will be Monday, June 16th and will be split into two separate sessions.

  • Kindergarten-2nd grade will be from 9:30-11:00 am
  • 3rd-5th Grade will be from 1:30-3:00 pm
Colorful silhouettes of children engaged in various sports and activities.
In order for this day to be successful, we will need a plethora (about 45 for each session) of parent volunteers.  If YOU would like to volunteer for this extra fun event, please fill out and submit the form below.

All volunteers must be background cleared prior to attending. It is the volunteer’s responsibility to check with the office to see if your background check is current. This year we WILL NOT be calling to confirm your availability, therefore, please submit the form and meet Mr. Norman in the gym at your session start time listed below to find out how you will be assisting our Endeavour kids for the day.

  • Morning (K-2nd): Meet in the gym at 9:00 am
  • Afternoon (3rd-5th): Meet in the gym at 1:00 pm.
Of course, you are more than welcome to volunteer for both sessions!

Thank you in advance for all you do for the children of Endeavour and for helping to make this field day memorable.

Counselor's Corner

All year long, your students have been learning how to identify their emotions, grouping similar emotions into zones and building their toolbox with different strategies for each zone. Here is a fun game you can play at home  to keep their zones flair going over the summer.

Lawson's Literacy Lounge

Summertime is a chance for you and your family to make special memories together.  For our last newsletter this year, I wanted to share some resources for you to avoid those dreaded words “I’m bored…”.  When my own children were little, we would start the summer by creating a “Summer Bucket List” together.  Each week we would choose 1-2 things from our list to do.  I will attach an example below for you to use with your kiddos!  Snohomish county has many free and low cost learning opportunities for children.  Anything from concerts in the park, free matinee movies, as well as summer reading programs.  I found a great resource called the Summer Boredom Buster guide and wanted to share it with you!   I am wishing you all a wonderful Summer!  Encourage your child to stay curious and keep reading!

Warmly,
Mrs. Lawson

Any medication remaining at school after the last day will be properly disposed of. This includes all prescription and non-prescription medications, inhalers, and Epi-pens.

If you are unable to pick up medications by the last day of school, alternative arrangements can be made by contacting your child’s school nurse prior to the end of the school year. Thank you!
